Rosalía Is Simply Euphoric Right Now

“I wonder if creating a perfume has similarities with creating music?” Rosalía muses.

The Spanish singer-songwriter (and Spring 2026 Vogue cover star) is celebrating New York Fashion Week in iconic style—sitting front row at Calvin Klein’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear show as well as hosting an intimate Jell-O-shot-filled after-party. “Both can be an abstraction, an interplay of proportions and taste, a balance of elements until it feels right…” she says.

There’s one fragrance in particular that has the singer thinking this way: Calvin Klein’s Euphoria Signature Elixir. “I deeply admire what perfumers can do, and I love what Carlos Benaïm and Domitille Michalon [the noses behind the scent] created with Euphoria,” Rosalía says. Earlier this year, she was revealed as the face of the fragrance, wearing a liquid metallic dress in the campaign that perfectly matched the bottle. “This fragrance is powerful because it could evoke an image, a memory, an idea, an emotion…just as a song could too.”

As she gets ready for the Calvin party, she reflects on her current beauty era—one filled with flowing hair, dewy skin, and Catholic iconography, nodding to a through line in her 2025 album, Lux. When asked about her current relationship with beauty, she’s thoughtful. “This question makes me think of this Yohji Yamamoto quote that here and there still resonates in my mind: ‘I think perfection is ugly. Somewhere in the things humans make, I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion.’” Yet there’s nothing ugly about the amber-y Signature Elixir—a spritz of which is always the final step.

And Euphoria is a perfect match for the singer in many ways. Yes, she starred in the latest season of the hit HBO show of the same name; and yes, it aligns with the ecstatic fervor of her album. But it’s a word that means a lot of other things to her too. Overall, it’s simply what she’s feeling as she hurtles toward the end of her six-month Lux tour in Miami next week.

There’s one ritual she’s particularly looking forward to: “Poner la llave en la ranura y abrir la puerta de mi casa.”
